The difficulty of the trail is rated as demanding and it usually takes 8 days to walk the Grampians Peaks Trail.
Of course, how long it really takes for the trail depends on the experience and fitness of the hikers.

The drinking water supply is on the way Generally difficult!
The water supply must be planned in detail in advance and, if necessary, water supplies have to be deposited en route.

On the trail you are self-sufficient.
But at irregular intervals (at least every few days) there is the possibility to buy food.
This needs to be planned accordingly and it can only be recommended to contact the aid stations and check the opening hours.
